What is the AusIndustry Small Business Program?

In 2003, the Australian Government announced a grant assistance package for the TCF industry, one component of which is the Textile, Clothing and Fashion Small Business Program. Funding from this competitive, merit based grant program has been made available to eligible members of the industry since July 2006. The objective of the program is to improve the business culture of TCF small businesses through projects that enable skills transfer to the business resulting in the development of an internal culture of entrepreneurial behaviour. This can offer businesses assistance with the development of a variety of business skills, like marketing, strategic thinking, business management and financial acument.
